Satoshi Tomiie

Decades after his track Tears alongside Frankie Knuckles, the Japanese-born, New York-based DJ, producer, remixer, and label boss remains a staple in the sets of today’s underground elite. A globally respected DJ, Satoshi regularly plays clubs and festivals across Europe, the Americas, and Tokyo, delivering forward-thinking sets that bridge house, techno, and beyond. He continues to release music on his own Abstract Architecture imprint, as well as labels such as A_A, Yoyaku, Phonogramme, and 2020 Vision. A student of jazz and classical piano, Satoshi is a musically adept and accomplished producer who constantly evolves his craft. In recent years, he is experimenting with an all-hardware live setup, bringing his beloved studio machines to the stage for DAW-less improvisation. In 2025, he makes his live debut at Dekmantel Festival. As relevant as ever, Satoshi continues to make waves in the electronic music community like only he can.
